The author tried not to be. He really did. But there is no saving that style of book from it, not unless you get someone who actually knows how to deconstruct the genre and write from a minority perspective. I keep seing people recommend the book because of Obi-Wan, but I wonder why they even rec it at all.

Yeah, my library apps don't have any SW comics, but the library itself does have physical trades, though that's pretty much useless right now. I think it's possible to read that specific trade without having read the first trade, which is mainly about Vader getting a new lightsaber.
