Rescue:
Nancy feels as if her heart has been pounding since the Lightspeed Rangers sent out an SOS. They’re safe now in the Astro Ranger’s Megaship, so Nancy lets herself take a calming breath as she sits next to Kelsey, holding her hand.
Kelsey smiles up at her, weakly. “You’re here. How are you here? Who’s watching Dorsie?”
Nancy laughs, wetly. “You nearly died and you’re worried about my dog.”
“Our dog.”
“Our dog,” Nancy agrees leaning forward to kiss Kelsey briefly. “Cassie has her. The Astro Rangers were nice enough to invite me along.”
“They needed the help.”
“They did.”
