Fustrated venting about my car dealership's service center but love to my grandma for saving my sanity...

I'm having an upsetting day. The brakes in my car needed to be replaced, but I didn't have the money for it after paying my bills and getting my credit cards caught up so I decided to wait until my next paycheck and hopefully I'd have enough. My grandma and I were talking and she said she'd help me out. So I went up to my dealership to make an appointment today and they gave me an essitmate of 200 dollars and an appointment that day. I went in at one for my appt and the woman who was helping me told me that it'd take an hour to an hour and a half to get my car up to speed and let me leave. She called me around two fourty-five to let me know that the techinicans felt that the noise I heard was coming from my back brakes and that it would be thirty-seven more dollars just for them to look at the back brakes.

Apparently the esstimate she gave me was only for my front brakes...and I had thought she meant all four of my brakes. She called me again after three and they had to be replace, which I already knew they would because I had all four of them replaced at the same time last time I had them replaced so it'd only make sense that they'd all need to be replaced again. The priced jumped to over six hundred dollars, which after taxes and my medical insurance is more than I make from a paycheck. I don't know what I'd have done without my grandma.

So we ended up going back to the bank and I laid down for a few minutes, looked at a book and wondered what was going on. I just called them. My front brakes and tires aren't on yet, all the techs have left for the day, the woman who was helping me had left for the day (without calling me to let me know what was going on) and they don't have any loaner cars at the moment.

So not only is my grandma helping me pay for this she's also going to have to give me a ride to work tonight. It's just been a completely fustrating day.
