I posted a drabble the other day and clearly marked the pairing as Spike/Booth (it was a btvs/bones xover) and hit the little tab that labeled the story as slash with a pic on the side of two blue male symbols intertwined. I got a review asking me to put a slash warning in my summary and in the beginning of my story. Shouldn't this be obvious by the pairing? What's the point of having a section where you can label your story het, slash or femslash if you still need to include a warning? I've already posted several stories on this site without including a warning because of that labeling device. So do I point out that adding warnings would be redundant and that I would hope any readers would be intelligent enough to determine it was slash by the symbol used and the pairing given in the summary or do I reload every one of my stories with warnings that let you know 'hey this has two guys kissing, don't read if you don't like', 'two girls in a romantic relationship if that bothers you please don't read', 'implied hetersexual situations, if that bothers you please don't read?'. Cause honestly if I need to go back through and put warning labels on all my slash I'm going to do the same with all my het.
