I had today off from work because today was one of my cousin's baby shower. Another cousin had her birthday party yesterday, an hour after I got off work. Thankfully my parents drove, we were 'fashionably late' but had a good time. The shower was fun too.
Of course work called to see if I would come in from 7-3am, or 7-11pm...on a day I had requested off. When I had also called off on Friday because I was too sick to go in. I have a sinus infection and have had it for going on about a week now. It wasn't bad at first and I thought I would be fine, now I'm trying to figure out how to fit a doctor's appt into my busy schedule. So I declined going into work on a day I had requested off! Give me a moment, I need to roll my eyes again.
I'm also a bit nervous as my first quiz is tomorrow, well techinically I have two. One in Nursing and one in Psych. They are also not really my first ones as I've had three English ones already, but the English ones are easy because it's all read this and then get quized on it. I've read my material though and I'm going to rego over the Nursing before I go to bed tonight. Just nerves cause I haven't quite settled into my new routine yet.
I did, however, get organized today. I now have a notebook set for each class, my schedule in my PDA (they made us get one for the Nursing class) and my homework scheduled out in my planner. Hopefully with some good organization I'll be okay. I have one more text book to get and am planning on driving out to Cleveland to get it tomorrow.
I finished watching Hero's S2 on Friday. I really didn't have the energy to do anything but read or zone in front of the tv. I fear I have been suck in. I really don't need another fandom to be interested in, but some of the chars would be so fun to slash. I tried to resist getting into it while watching S1, but then they brought in the Invisible Man and well that was it. Oh well. I still have x-mas fic I've promised, which isn't good going into Feb, but well it'll get done when it gets done. Thankfully I got an extention on my 30 kisses challenge cause I need to figure out what I'm doing with that.
