I'm going to start with a pretty quote from Latter Days. It's a beautiful, romantic movie and if you haven't seen it should you find a way to.

Lila: Your church doesn't like alcohol or homosexuals. Well, I definitely won't be joining. Can't imagine heaven without both.

So there is good and there is bad.

Lately it seems everyone is getting pregant. This 21 yr old I work with just found out she's pregant. My friend Tammy is having a Baby, she's 19/20. I'm happy for her, she's asked my brother and I to be the godparents. She wants to have a Wiccan ceremony. I'm worried though because she's been pregant before and miscarried so she's high risk. I'm praying for her and I hope everything works out. My cousin who is about 20/21, we just recently found out she's having a child as well. She's one semester away from graduation and her boyfriend we're not sure how he's going to help because he doesn't really have a job. I'm worried about her.

I hope I get to see her for Thanksgiving. Don't like celebrating Thanksgiving, to me it's a morbid holiday. Yes lets give thanks for what we have and celebrate the destruction of an indigenous people. I do like seeing my family though, even if it can be stressful.

The situation at work is still childish and stupid and I wish my manager would just grow up. Recently I worked with my brother and a different manager who is friends with the one that is giving me trouble and since it was with my brother I gave 110% and she was amazed. We got a 56 second window time, which means that the average a car stayed at my drive thru window was 56 seconds. The manager on duty didn't think I could do that. She said I should do it on every shift and my brother pointed out to her why would I when I get treated like crap by this other manager. Hopefully word will get to the other manager and she'll start acting better. A lot of my other co-workers are telling me I should just tell her off and that I'm too nice and shouldn't let her walk all over me.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

I went out to diner with my Grandma today. This is the part that has me feeling crappy. We were sitting together talking and I mentioned I might go out with my friend Kenny tonight. She got quiet so I told her she'd probably like him if she met him.

She informed me that he's black. She hasn't really approved of our friendship since she's seen a picture of him, before that she was wanting me to date him.

I don't rememember my exact word, but I told her that didn't mean anything.

She chastisted me. So I said we're not dating that we're just friends and that he reminds me of my brother. Which is the truth. She said okay. I know my Grandma grew up in the thirites, but I thought she was more open minded.

When I came out to her she told me about a lesbian couple she use to work with in the factory where she use to work. She felt that I 'still liked the fellows too' and I think she's all but forgotten that converstation. So I was kinda shocked.

I'm also having a little tension at work beside the manager. I started hanging out with one of the guys there. We go out every now and then and when we're asked where we're going we say Bounce (which is a local gay club) and so instead of everyone putting two and two together (he's not out at work) they all assume that we're dating. I think it's odd that people can't see something that's right in front of their faces.

Well this makes me feel better. Here's a nice Spike/Xander pic:
