Have you ever felt that peoples perspective of you is totally different from your persepective of yourself.
Today someone told me I was cultured. I'm going huh? I can understand someones misconception that I'm well-read because I have a slightly photographic memory when it comes to reading, and I can pull out names and plots of pieces I'm familar with. There's so much I haven't read though so I don't consider myself well versed in literature. I'm making a book connection because I was talking with them about Edmund White and mentioned Kafka which promted the comment.
so um I'm not sure the point of this rant, but there it is.
Finally got some sleep, still semi-tired, but at least I'm feeling awake enough to keep my eyes open and can think coherently.
