I'm getting really tired of working with this guy. We have all these people come in and out where I work because we're short staffed and the main house keeps sending this one guy. He's about my Dad's age and spends most of his shift sleeping. Which isn't awful when we have down time, but still annoying. The thing is he doesn't do anything unless you ask/tell him too and even then I'm constently having to check his work and fix things. So not only do I have to do my work, but often I end up having to do his too. Also when I tell him I need something done he has a habit of telling me he wants to do something else. The guy can't prioritze. I told him I need him to feed one of the residents and he was all oh I want to go shave this guy...the guy he should have shaved after he gave him a shower. If I hadn't said no she has to be fed, you can shave him after you feed her, her bus would've shown up and she wouldn't have eaten anything. Also I'll never make the mistake of leting him pick out clothes for the residents ever again. He put the one guy in jogging pants, a nice long sleeved shirt and dress shoes. I was all um he wear's his tennis shoes to workshop and could you get him some jeans...this other girl he put her in flower print pants and a stripped shirt. The guy can dress himself decently, you'd think he'd be able to dress the people he's being paid to take care of decently. I just can't stand working with this guy, it's fustrating and made even more so by the rumor that he might be the one that get transfered over to us as regular staff. Ugh!
