Went into work Friday night and ended up getting slapped in the face by a resident who was rather out of it. Not fun, but part of the job.

Spent the morning, right after I got off work, at a barbershop for two hours observing for a piece I have to write for Creative Non-Fiction. The suggestions I'd come up with for my immersion essay didn't work or something so my teacher sent me to his barber. It was interesting. It's not everyday you see an eight and eleven year old sneaking each other glances of scantly clad women in magazines that they're going through.

Day off today, laundry, writing, studying and some cleaning. Last day of spring break, class tomorrow. Wish it'd been long, a week is not that long.

Title: Brian's Story
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Queer As Folk (inspired by Tommy's Tale by Alan Cumming), and mild Gypsy 83 x-over
Disclaimer: They're not my toy box.
Spoilers: Post S4
Pairing: Brian/Michael, Mel/Leda, Hunter/Clive
Summary: Ben give Brian a present that opens his eyes. Bri's POV: Char Death (Ben)
Note: Thanks to James for loaning me Tommy's Tale, encouraging me on this piece and naming Brian's bf at one point. This piece was inspired by Tommy's Tale by Alan Cumming and takes bits and pieces and ideas from the book, though it's not necessary to have read the book to understand the piece. Also my computer keeps wanting to change Mikey to Mickey, so if for some reason I didn't catch it please let me know...

Reviews and Flames are welcome.
