It's been a long weekend.

Saturday was okay, was actually very tired, but I still went up to school for the RPG club. They were starting a new Vampire game so I went up and got Amanda to help me create a char, since I'm still getting use to this whole live action role playing thing. Liz was there, she introduced me to her friend as the sectretary of the schools GSA. I kinda did a double take and was all 'wait how did you just introduce me?' She was all, 'well isn't that what you are' totally clueless that she basically just said, 'hey here's this gay girl.' I didn't say anything more, just tried not to bang my head on the table. I mean, yeah I'm basically 'out' at school, but that doesn't mean I need to be introduced as gay and okay it was even that because she just mentioned that I was in the GSA, but why did she feel the need to do that?

okay, vented, I'm done.

Sunday was Tammy's baby shower. Not a lot of people showed up and I was tired because I basically went there from work. We hung out and it was fun. My brother and I tend to call her mom 'Mom' because that's basically how she treats us, like we're her kids as well. I told her what I was doing in school, about the GSA I joined and instead of being like my mother and getting all quiet and then changing the subject she was all 'good for you.' It's just nice to have someone that I view as a parental figure be supporative for once.

School started Monday. I already have the reading done for my Human Sexuality class. Interesting note on the book: I skimmed ahead and they have several drawings of heterosexual couples in a variaty of postitons, they have one of a lesbian couple very much engaged in sex, however their drawing of two guys was basically just two naked guys hugging. Feel free to roll your eyes. I think my Science class is going to go well, need to start in on the reading because I have a feeling its going to go by fast.

Haven't gotten much sleep today. I tried. I ended up having this nightmare where I felt like I was stuck in a bad horror movie and I haven't been able to fall into a deep sleep since. It's annoying.
