When I started livejournal I decided to try and write everything openly and not friend lock anything, but after thinking about it I've decided to friend lock all the posts dealing with the GSA. That way if I complain, it's not on 'the open net', instead it's me venting to a few good friends. *sigh*
The HIV/AIDS class I'm in is having an event for World AIDS Day. We're supposed to have a raffle, but I don't think we have many items. The bake sale looks like it'll go good, we want to earn money for our local AIDS Task force. I volunteered to get the updated info on where one could go in the county for a free HIV test. Only one person does them, and she only does them two days a week. She was really nice and gave me all the info I needed when I called one of the numbers on the old list. She even asked me to stop by the a local health clinic and she'd leave things to pass out, some condoms and fliers. When I picked it up yesterday there weren't any fliers, which isn't a big deal because I can make them. What I got was a box of condoms, a big box filled to the brim with condoms. I proably have about 100 of them, maybe more. So I'll be driving around with a box of condoms until Friday. Just the thought makes me smile.
