Today has been rather long. Mostly good things, only a few to discourage me.
I got an A on my final exam for my STNA class. I believe I'm getting an A in the course as well. So I have four more days and then I can go find a job. Of course there is still the matter of taking the state test, but that should be okay. I have my mom, who's a nurse, to help me practice and yesterday I sent my address book around the class...so I have plenty of people to call and see if they'll practice and study with me.
I also got my student loan check today, thankfully...just in time for car repairs, though I think my father will try to talk me out of using the money for that. There is enough there to pay for school and get my car repairs, so I think it would be in my benefit to do so...we'll see what happens.
I ended up coming out to several classmates today, but not in the manner I usually like to come out to people. They were saying something negative about gay couples, and when I tried to say something to disagree it was like they didn't hear me. So I stood and let them know that I was going to leave because I was gay and then I left. I had two of the four people come up to me later and make sure we were still friends, both apologized.
