If I go upstairs I can smell the freshly cut grass

And considering how I've felt all day, the pollen count is high.

It hasn't been a bad week though. Lots of good, I'm just tired.

I had an actual converstion with my mom about an ex-girlfriend. I was playing the non gender pronouns game and my mom was the one to acknowledge that I'd last dated a 'she'...so we talked, about a girlfriend without her freaking out. It's also been several days and my dad hasn't pulled me aside to tell me I've upset my mother and not to do it again...so this is a first. A very big almost came here and freaked out about it happily when it first happened kinda big.

Work has been going well also. I picked up a day on Wed because I have a CPR class this weekend. So I only work tomorrow and then have class starting Sat. This starts my classes, but luckily CPR is only two days. My books cost nearly half as much as my semester this semester.

I managed to spend some time with James this week. We wanted to go see Sex and the City together, even though he'd seen it on Friday. Those plans fell through, but I ended up going by myself to see it today. Celebrated Erica's birthday a day early with her. So hope she had a good day. Saturday after class Erica and I are going to a concert so that should be fun.

Basically I've been really busy lately. It's a bit exhausting, but nice.
