And got sent to urgent care. I had a hoyer land on my neck, wasn't fun and I wouldn't recommend it. It was the part of the machine that we attach the sling we put the residents in to transfer them. It wasn't working so well with the client we were tranfering so I held the chair with my feet and postioned the client while my co-worker pulled the emergency release...needless to say it went down fast and I got hurt. Thankfully the resident was fine.

I went and told the nurse about it, just to get the incident report filled out and to maybe get some ice for my neck. I had every intention of getting back to work because as far as I was concerned it was going to be a not so fun bruise. She made me sit down and then she and another nurse decided to send me to urget care to get x-rays just incase I'd broken something.

Thankfully it's just a bad bruise. I'm on 800 mg of Motrin three times a day. It didn't hurt as bad as it does now when it happened and I'm glad I got sent home. I'm also likely going to take tomorrow off from school. I've already e-mailed my profs and hopefully they'll let me take my test and quiz in the testing center. I've been studying like a crazy person and can't see putting all that studying to waste by taking them while I'm in pain. I'm told it'll hurt worse tomorrow. So well we'll see. I'm also on lifting resitrictions. I'm not suppose to lift anything more than 20 lbs on my right side.

I did go back into work to see if they wanted to keep me around to help feed or do something, but they sent me home. I'm glad because I started feeling worse a few hours after they sent me home and would have likely had to ask to be sent home. I am glad I went back though, it allowed me to say goodbye to the third resident who is passing.

Title: Not That Predictable
Fandom: Power Rangers: RPM
Pairing: Flynn/Dillion
Word Count: 200
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: It’s not my toy box. I own nothing and am merely playing.
Summary: Dillion proves to Flynn that he’s full of surprises.
Note: Because apparently I’ve developed a Flynn muse. I was very tempted to make this more than 200 words.
