Going back to work tomorrow.

So I'm really very happy I'm off lifting restrictions. My scheduler reminded me that they don't have a lifting restrictions set. She was all 'I'll try to find you an easy set, but if you have to lift then you'll just have to get some help' blah blah blah. I rolled my eyes. I already go for help if I need help with lifting. So I'm just glad I'm off of it.

My scheduler isn't making me too happy lately. At the beginning of the year she told me that I deserve one weekend off a month. Now she's upset with me because I've request for one weekend off a month, but it's never the same weekend. I've requested off for family things, and according to her when I grow up and start my career I'll find that I just don't have time for all the famiy things I would like. Again I rolled my eyes. My Aunt from Conn is coming in tomorrow, she'll be here all week. I didn't take this weekend off. I even picked up hours on Wed, to make up for having to be sent home last Sun. I have the following weekend off, but will be in Kentucky visting family so I'm not going to have a lot of time with my Aunt. I already know that by going to school Mon-Thurs and working Fri-Sun that I miss a lot so if it's important I've asked for it off. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end, if not I will go find a new job somewhere else.

I am having a good week though. My day to observe a surgery got bumped up to next week. I'm so excited, can't wait. Plus with that I don't have to prepare for patient care the night before because I won't find out who my patient is until that day so I get a good nights sleep! Oh and I went to a focus group about one of the college's I go to and won fifty dollars. So cool. I think I did okay on my last test. I sure I did good on my make-up quiz. I also found out that my cousin got into the college that she wanted to. I also lost one of my notebooks today, was sure that I left it in class, but not too sure. The room was locked and someone in the computer lab was nice enough to call security for me. The whole time I was waiting for him I prayed that my notebook was in there. It was! Made my day. Plus one of my English classmates is really into PR and we had a great conversation after class.
