My parents are away at the moment (I'm actually at their house now). They will thankfully be back early tomorrow morning. Someone had to watch the dog and kitten. So I spent most of yesterday doing so. Feeding, cuddling (the kitten, she's tiny. Cuddling a 181 lb dog happens but not as easily), playing and reassuring.
I was even going to spend the night since I know my mom gets up early to let the dog out. He wouldn't stop crying. My parents have never both left him at home. Usually he goes with, but that wasn't a possibility this time. He's stayed home with my mom while my dad was hunting, but he's never not had one of them. He cried non-stop when it was time to sleep. I tried several times and several different tactics, but he wouldn't stop.
I gave up at 2:30 this morning. I went home, crawled into bed and finally got some sleep. Now I'm back. I'm really hoping I get my homework done. Thankfully while I'm at clinical one of my aunts is going to come back and be with them.
