Sleep may be the enemy...

Lost a friend on Monday, a patient. Don't really want to talk about it, was glad for the extra time I got to spend with him after class on Monday and the time with his family. I don't know when the funeral is and am likely working.

This is what is difficult when it comes to working in a long term care facility. You become close to the residents and then they pass. They are more often than not ready to pass, ready to stop suffering, but their loss is still felt. It still hurts.

Still going to be a nurse though. Passed my IV Piggyback check off today and have a clinical tomorrow.

Can I kill my crazy new/slightly old plot bunny?

I had this story, just kinda idly sitting there and not fleshed out. It sat for months as I did lots of school work and wrote the occasional story.

I want to finish this Zack/Adam chapter for The Adventures of Zack Taylor, but my Kim muse won't shut up about another story that I let sit on the back burner for her. She is demanding it be done now. That and she doesn't like Gwen. Zack is no help, he thinks it's funny.
