I've heard of this kind of thing happening...

I've heard horror stories of nursing students who's family doesn't understand their constant need to study. I've heard of books being taken away, I've even heard of books being burned.

Today one of my co-workers stole the book I've been working on for my English class citing that I 'need a break' and part of it was she was desperate to read something. She didn't give it back till later and I kinda did need a break from it.

Still no grade yet in my Nursing class, but I've gotten lots of reassurances and a few reminders that worst comes to worst there are other programs. Of course the same co-worker who stole my English book tried to tell me to quite trying to be a nurse and become an English teacher instead. I've worked too long and too hard not to become a nurse.
