Title: Being Yourself Isn’t Always Easy
Pairing: One-sided Dave/Kurt
Rating: R (Lots of swearing in this fic)
Summary: Redemption fic for Dave. Dave has an epiphany while standing in front of the slushie machine with a valentine’s in his pocket.
Disclaimer: I own nothing to do with Glee. It’s not my toy box, I’m merely playing. I also own nothing to do with Alpha Flight.
Spoilers: Up to “Silly Love Songs”
A/N: This fic basically ate my brain over the last few weeks. I went back and forth on many things and it ended up a lot longer than I intended it to. In warning there is one kiss between Kurt and Dave in here. It’s mutual, but it’s not the start of a relationship.
A/N2: Also for the angst_bingo prompt: fear.

Plot bunnies are found in the weirdest places. I wore my Turbo morpher today, which [livejournal.com profile] pockythoughts gave me for Christmas and I never properly spazzed about because well there were things going on around that time that I'm not getting into. There should've been an entire spazz post for she is amazing and awesome and we all know this already. So anyway today was an I deperately wanted to wear a morpher day. My ASL teacher asked me about it so I ended up telling him about it...and yes in sign. He then wrote on the board that he'd left his sonic screwdriver at home. So I tweeted that I wanted PR/Dr. Who xover. Of course this led to conversation with [livejournal.com profile] second_batgirl and now I've started fic where the Torchwood team has morphers...she was even kind enough to give me colors.

Also I finally filed my taxes. I used Turbo Tax and as long as everything goes through alright then I'll be happy with them and they will be worth the thirty bucks I spent. Normally I do my taxes the old fashion way with a pencil and a calculator. This new fangled method might work better since my return came out to more thatn it normally does. We'll see.

Went in for an oil change/tire rotation yesterday and came out of it having to buy four new tires. Well the tires are getting paid for. My dad is going to let me borrow the money to pay it off my credit card. He's been slowly saving for the taxes on the house and as long as I pay him back with my tax return it should be good. My grandma gave me the evil eye because she just wanted to give me the money. I convinced her otherwise. Hopefully this will work out.
