Summary: There are strangers on the station, they came through a hypergate and Kix isn't sure they aren't dangerous to the Resistance. He and Chopper team up to find out. Or the one where Chopper nearly murders Nicholas Rush.
A/N: Written for the intoabar prompt Kix (CT-6116) walks into a bar and meets Nicholas Rush. Title from the Emily Dickinson poem “If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking”.
Warnings: One character (Chopper) gets misgendered and the character (Rush) who misgenders him gets quickly corrected. Goes into how dire the situation is on Destiny and also some of Kix’s trauma.
