I'm a bit of a mess, yet I'm mostly just tired and good. Socially inept as always, but I've gotten comfortable with it. Have spent much of my free time lately getting acquainted with the prettiness that is Supernatural and considering I generally don't do horror unless it's BTVS/AtS that's something. The characters and thier angst have sucked me in and I can't help thinking slash and slash often in a lovely crossover way. I seem to want to write Tara a lot lately as well, although I also seem to be coming up with several ways to have Dean and Sam meet Oz. Have several ideas floating around and am attempting to finish some WIP's, but of course my JP muse has suddenly decided to go 'write this' with that patent 'do my bidding' look. He knows he's my favorite for writing stories so he takes advantage when he's wont to.

My brother's doing better, which is a relief. He had an infection in the lining around his heart and it gave the whole family a scare. I was busy trying to make sure everyone else was okay so it took awhile for it to hit me. Tried to call my friend James, but that didn't work. Ended up talking to my ex Erica for over an hour and it helped me calm. That and one of my residents gave me a big hug when he found out why I was upset. It was sweet, he just grabbed the front of my shirt and wrapped his arms around me and refused to let go till I was breathing a little easier. Chad, my brother, is set to go back to work on Monday, and has started to get sick of all of us worrying about him, though he seemed happy to take advantage of my offered chauffeuring ability (he recently lost his license and is working towards getting it back).

Ran an all asleep fire drill for the first time last night at work. I've run two drills before, but always under Terry's supervision because he's been there longer. Last night it was me in charge with one of my co-workers and the first time that we've got all the residents out of bed to do the fire drill, generally we wait until they're nearly all up to do the fire drill. This time we were pulling them out of bed and putting them in their wheelchairs. Needless to say several of them were agitated and not happy with us, but it had to be done for bookkeeping and safety reasons. At least no one tried to swing at me, cause that would be my reaction is someone burst into my room, told me an apology about a fire drill (I'd be out and not even hear it) and then yanked me out of bed. There would defiently be kicking, punching and some screaming. The most I got was a pulled apart bedding that needed to be reput on it's bed and some late night singing. Therefore I feel that I've nothing to complain about.
