It's been a full weekend. CPR class is 16 hours so you can get one credit for the course. So I had eight hours of class yesterday and then drove two hours to meet Erica for the Eyeshine concert which was taking place at a Con.
It turned out to be a rather small con. There were about 23-33 people at the concert. I counted 23 standing up and dancing and there were more so...it was small. I'm beginning to think I like small concerts, there just nicer than larger concerts though those can be fun too. The Debbie Harry concert I went to has to be the best concert I've ever been to and well after last night that is that second smallest concert I've ever been too. Last night as the smallest concert I've ever been too, but it was wonderful.
Erica is a big fan of Johnny Yong Bosch. So I summed up all my courage stole her badge and went and got autographs for us. Thankfully she decided to join me and we talked to him a moment. It was funny...he'd never heard of Cedar Point and we were too thrown by that to think of how else to elaborate on how far we'd driven (One of us lives near Cedar Point). He asked cause we'd mentioned our two hour drive. He signed his name on the badge and then wrote 'Adam the black ranger'. Of course after the concert we got CD's and the whole band signed them.
It was really fun. They were very good, and Johnny was funny in between songs though he mentions how 'they sucked' a bit too often because they really didn't. If you ever get a chance to see them you should.
Then of course I didn't get home till well after twelve, it really was quite the drive. Had to be back to class by eight for another eight hours of class. I got 100% on my test so all is well in my world. Okay, everything a bit ecstatic in my world. The social anxiety disorder is definetly going 'what the hell were you doing walking up to a complete stranger and talking to him?' but I haven't had a panic attack so all is well. And I've been having random moments of that combined with random moments of non stop smiling so well...I think I'll just blame Erica. Erica, you knew it was going to be all your fault from the get go, didn't you? :)
The badge went into my photo album right next to the Northstar/Aurora card that James gave me, right accross from my signed Debbie Harry ticket. The CD, well I've been listening to that all day and yes I listened to it on the drive home. It's good! :)
And now I need a nap because I've reached that point of tired where I have a headache.
