They changed my resident. Tomorrow is my first day of clinical where I actually take care of a client. We were assigned our client's last week and I felt prepared for tomorrow. I'd already introduced myself to the client, seen how this client transfered and done research into their diagnoisis and meds. I was partway done with the cards that the instuctor wanted us to write up on each med.
Today I found out that tomorrow I will have a different client. After all that work (I stayed up till past one last night) I have to start from scratch. So I need to get up to the clinical site either today or before class tomorrow (which starts at seven in the morning) and get organized. Obviously I won't be passing meds tomorrow.
*sigh*
There is a silver lining though. Instead of working on my own now me and another student will be working together. Two people to take care of one client. lol I told her (the student I'll be working with) that our client will likely get pampered as they've never been pampered before. :P
Just frustrated, but at least I found out today instead of tomorrow.
