It's been a rather odd weekend. I went and saw Kinsey on Friday, which was so beautiful. I absoluetly loved it. Also had one of my friends tell me I need to get off this gay culture kick and expand my horizons a little...which he's right...I read far too many gay books lately, but I'm reading one now that's not and okay I admit two that are, one fiction, one non-fiction. I hop around when it comes to books, but I need to expose myself to more then I have so he's right as well. So anyone want to suggest some good books that aren't gay?
A couple tried to pick me up this weekend, a married couple. Didn't get a good look at the guy, but the woman was gorgeous. I was going oh my god, wtf. Told my brother and he was all about how I should have gone for it and threesome! Some days I don't think he realizes that everyones not as bi as him. I was actually a little thrown and don't regret my decision to walk away.
On a more amusing note, my Grandma's phesants are back, they were in her aparagus patch, which she wasn't happy about. I'm thinking she right and they're gay. They're nearly always together. My Dad is of the opinon that they're confused and would be chasing after females instead of each other if there were females about. I decided not to burst his illusion by telling him that there were plenty of females around when we first started seeing them hang out together, so if either of them had been interested in any other phesants besides the other they could've gone that route...er anyway these phesants amuse me to no end. My Grandma just adores them, except she's was worried they get her freshly planted peas, only now it's snowing so there goes that...
Yesterday at work was awful. It was the worst night I've had so far, and part of it was the staff member I was working with. It's almost seems like the more he comes and works in the house the less he knows each time. He spends most of his time sitting down sleeping or half awake watching tv. I get that he has two jobs and is tired, and that he's from another country, but the guy could at least help me out with some work without...I don't even know how to explain the problems I'm having. The guy's been coming and helping us out for months now. Last night, this is just a small thing, he kept calling these two guys each other's names. I'm sorry they look nothing alike, ones African-American the other's German-American, if you can't tell who's who by now then I don't know what to day. He's never messed up their names before and the one guy he knows and gives a shower to everytime he works with us because he refuses to do the other guy so how he suddenly decided that they were each other I have no idea. I'm making a big deal out of nothing, I know, but that's the littlest thing he's resently done. It's just really fustrating. He's been with the company for years, I've been there since early Jan, and half the time I'm training and explaining to him.
Good news though, I got a letter today and I was approved for the life insurance policy I decided to get. So anyway I'm tired and rambling so I'm going to just go.
