went well. I stayed up till about 3 am. We played Uno. I was asked to make 'you version of coke, just not as strong as you like it,' apparently my Jack and Cokes are a bit on the strong side. Which is okay, my dad likes his drinks strong too. The bon fire was big, still smoldering the last few bits now. Actually it turned into a sleep over with everyone cleaning up today and clearing out about 3 pm. We had a lot of fun.
When I wasn't helping set up for the party yesterday I was writing my brother's wife a letter welcoming her to the family and introducing everyone. Apparently it's funny as it was passed around today. I warned her about what we call the 'Wolf sense of humor,' gave her our family rules for Uno, and told her about our Christmas Eve dinner. I know it will likely make my brother laugh, hopefully it will do the same for her and make her feel welcome. I also got them a card which was passed around at the party and now has tons of signitures.
I then spent some time cleaning at home. It's amazing the things you find when you let a pile of stuff sit for a few years. I found out I have a Rogue action figure. I was shocked. I have a Rogue to go with my Remy! Very amusing. I also found a half finished prequel to Melt. Bobby/Remy! It was amusing. I'm almost tempted to finish it. I also found a JP/Bobby fic I started and haven't even thought about in that many years. It was a fic centered around him learning that yes he is doing good by being a teach at Xavier's. It makes me kinda wonder what happened to a few chars after I stopped reading the books.
