Also class today. It went well. I think the teacher talked to the girl I was worried about. She's been rude and condecending in class...taking over discussions and belittling anyone else's point, probably part of the reason I was so upset when she pulled me aside. However today she made no snort at a comment I made and that was it the whole class, her only interaction. She just kinda sat at her desk, head down, taking notes and not participating.
However it was good that I wore my geek clothes at it helped me make a point in the discussion we were having. We were talking about conforming and not conforming and what kind of society we live in. I pointed out that dressing all geeked out meant I was not conforming to the class style, however I was conforming to being a geek so it fits both.
We actually had a pretty productive class discussion day. We all got to make points, build off each other and find common ground for our opinions. It was nice.
