My Aunt went home this week. She stressed me out so I'm kinda glad she want home. We got along our last night she was here...she was seriously mean about my bad grade, citing that she got straight A's in college. Love her, but she can seriously be a b-- sometimes. Showed her my scrap book, which amused as I basically got a jumble about how three of the actors were way hot (Blake Foster, Selwyn Ward and Matt Austin were the one she went on about). It was amusing.
Studying is going well. Trying a new concept and embracing my geekiness. Instead of treating the nursing class as a career I want to obtain and a class I have to survive to obtain it, I decided to treat it likes it's a fandom. Amazing how that kinda just boosted my confidence level and made memorizing concepts so much easier. Also it's easier to not get distracted from studying. I'm also going off the syllabus instead of the class notes for what to look at more indepth. I'm still looking over my notes from this semester, but am trying to systematically go through the syllabus so I don't miss anything.
My review of the last test I took is Tuesday.
I have tried to put my comp away so I won't get distracted by it. Managed to study for 2 and a half hours after work on Sat and Sun. Work tonight till 11 and am going to try and just take a shower and head to bed so I can spend all day tomorrow studying. Bascially I'm disappearing into my text books this week, but it feels like a good thing.
Test is Thursday. I'm not just aiming for an A. I'm aiming for 100% darnit! (I don't need that to pass, but I would like it. I need either a high B or an A.) I should get my grade Friday, at least the professor said she would try. My grandma has an appt Friday that I'm taking her to. Psy final is the following Monday. English is the following Tuesday. I'll be done on the 14! I have a girl's night out planned with coworkers for the 15. I will probably spend all the time before that trying to play catch up with the other fandoms I love and writing. I may end up spamming you guys with fic during break, scratch that I know I will end up spamming you guys with fic over break. I have bingo cards to work on!
