Wonder:
“Did you bring me here to spar?” Helena asks. Her brow creases as she looks around the park far outside Gotham and light pollution that Dinah’s brought her too.
Dinah raises her eyebrows. “Did you want to spar?”
Helena surveys the area again, “We’d get caught and in trouble. Renee would get cranky about it. Then I’ll yell at her for getting cranky when we were just sparing and then we’d end up screaming at each other. It’s likely not worth it.”
“I rented the cabin. It’s our weekend off,” Dinah points out.
“There are still other cabins within hearing distances that might not agree with our sparing.”
“They might not think we’re sparing,” Dinah smiles.
Helena concedes the point, then studies Dinah. “You’ve already seduced me.”
Helena’s eyes widen, and then then she grins. Dinah grins back, then waggles her eyebrows suggestively. Helena laughs, as she looks around again, then goes back to looking at Dinah. She waggles her eyebrows suggestively. Dinah laughs, yes this was a good idea.
“What’s in the picnic basket?” Helena asks.
Dinah smirks. “Help me pick a spot for the blanket and I’ll show you.”
It doesn’t take long to find a spot they’re comfortable with. Helena settles on the blanket, grinning with suspense as she brings the basket close. Then she notices Dinah laying on the blanket staring up. Helena tilts her head back and sighs happily at the sight of the stars she can’t normally see in the city. She leaves the basket to press close to Dinah so that they can both look upwards.
“You said you used to enjoy looking at the stars and learning the different myths that went with them,” Dinah explains.
“I don’t think I’ve really looked since I was a kid,” Helena confesses before kissing Dinah.
