Jacen waits until he’s got Kix back to their room and seated at their desk with a bowl of soup before he starts removing Kix’s boots.
“Do I want to know what you’re doing?” Kix asks.
Jacen snorts. He can see the questions brimming in Kix’s eyes.
“Always the caregiver,” Jacen chides gently before he sets Kix’s boots aside and starts massaging his feet.
Kix pauses, spoon almost back in the bowl, and closes his eyes. “You’re seducing me.”
“You’re not awake enough to be seduced. Eat, then shower, then we’ll sleep.”
“Shower together?” Kix bargains.
“Eat your soup first.”
