I'm home!

It was a nice vacation. I'm glad I went, but now I'm equally as glad to be home. I got to see my brother graduate. He's a Marine now. I'm so proud of him. He had fun at boot camp and now he's home for ten days.

We took a long camping trip and I feel like I spent most of it in the back seat of the truck, but it was good to spend all that time with my family as I haven't really spent much time with them lately. I feel as if my mom and I reconnected, which was good because things have been distant between us lately. We camped near the beach on the way up and my brother got all excited because he got to go exercise on the beach. He, my mother and I all went splashing around in the ocean the next morning. It was fun until they went out to a place where they could stand, but I no longer could. Then I was swearing at my shortness and trying to get to a place where I could stand. I'm not a very strong swimmer, need to work on that. My mom ended up helping me.
