My desktop is now dead.

It won't even open into Safe Mode so I can retrieve the files I want from it. Which is great since I just put retyped many stories that I had on my dead lap top onto my desktop. So who knows if after all that those files are safe. I was going to back them up today on a flash drive...but oops too late.
