I was just going to get it cut/layered and some red highlights put in. The sylist had suggestions so I just let her do whatever she wanted. It looks so cute! It's a darker brown with a red undertone and layered. I'm still getting used to the bangs, but I love it.
I also got my gardasil shot today.
My chem teacher did something really cool. He puts up these discussion questions online for extra credit, but he hasn't put the date when they're due. I was tired after work on Saturday so I looked at the question and decided I'd do it Sunday. It was due Saturday. When I pointed it out in class, that I didn't know the due date he took the suggestion and said he'd add the due date and that he'd put the question I missed up for one more day. So happy about that! I also just got an A on two lab reports and my paper on the causes of autism. I got a C on my test...I will do better next time.
Today my mom and I went out to shop for her dress to my cousin's wedding. We ended up calling my Aunt and her and my cousin Lisa came out to help. I also got my order for the framing of the wedding present I sewed my cousin figured out. It took us awhile to find the dress my mom wanted, but by the time we were done my mom had two dresses to choose from, accesories, shoes and I had found my shoes. I also got my slip for my dress today and my Aunt who's in from out of town fixed the hem on it for me so it'll work with my dress.
The only down side of today was that work called. I assumed they were calling to ask me to come in. No, apparently I was on the schedule. I told her that I talked to the scheduler and that I'd picked up Wed, no Mon and that I was shopping with my Mom. She told me I was on the weekly, and I said that I shouldn't be. She asked if I even looked at the weekly and I pointed out that I have a set schedule of Fri-Sun so I often don't look at it. I asked her if she could check and see if there was a mix up and if I wasn't down for Wed. She said she didn't know where I was on the weekly. If she didn't know where I was on the weekly then how did she confirm that I was on the weekly? I'm hoping it was another one of those mix ups where they put you on the daily when you aren't on the weekly. The scheduler is on vacation so I'm going to call and talk to the person filling in for her tomorrow. Bottom line for me was that I picked up Wed, because I was told that they really needed the help that day. If I worked today that'd put me in overtime and they are no longer allowing us overtime. Also if I worked today that would be 40 hours in 4 days...a four after I did 36 in three...I needed a break. So I didn't end up going in.
