I didn't pass my 114 class. I looked up my grade today and I got a D. I was close to passing when I looked at my percentage, but it wasn't good enough. I thought I'd be really upset. Instead I'm mostly disappointed with myself and anxious to find out if I will be able to retake it in the fall.
I am passing my 115 nursing class. I just looked. So all I have to do is pass the final and I pass the class.
So I ended up dropping my nursing classes that were already signed up for, because you need C's in both classes to progress. The advisor I talked to suggest I do that, otherwise I would have to wait for the program to drop me. So I signed up for the Chemistry class I need to get my associates of science. It's the last class I need.
I'll see my major advisor from CSU on the 28th to see what else I need to do to get my pysch degree. I'm hoping that when I do get back into 114 that it doesn't affect the Research Methods class I've already signed up for. I'm suppose to be taking it with my friend Candice and I'd really hate to tell her I had to drop it for nursing.
I got a B+ in my Testing and Assessment course. I'm still waiting on my Fiction and Drama grade. I know I passed that. I either got a A or a B.
I want to be sad about not passing 114, but I want to do better in the class then I did. Retaking it will offer me that opportunity. Also I need two CSU classes in the fall to keep my financial aide the same. I couldn't do that with the schedule I had set up. If I take 114 in the fall I should be able to easily fit two CSU classes in without overwhealming myself like I did this semester.
I can't really be upset, I had a great weekend. My cousin's wedding shower was on Saturday. Then I had a b-day party on Sunday. I went out to dinner with my parents, my grandma and James. James got me a comic book. The first appearance of Banshee! It still makes me smile.
