Well I opted to sleep in this morning and didn't go to church, stayed up late last night and wrote. Which was good, it cleared some clutter out of my head.
My mom and I talked things out this morning. She wants me to go on an anti-depresent that she's on because it has an appetite suppresant in it. I got her to agree to let me think about it. I'm not sure how I'm going to turn her down without upsetting her or my dad.
The family thing went well, I actually had nothing to be nervous about. The food was good and the kids had fun opening their presents. My cousin Hannah got a kit of makeup that came in a giant plastic lipstick container which her brother, Cody, immediatly latched onto and pretended to put on. His grandpa told him guy's don't wear lipstick and then decided to retracte that by saying guys put on lipstick differently then that and his dad could explain it to him when he was older. Cody laughed and said he knew how to put on lipstick. His grandpa asked how. He responded that you just know, it's natural. Everyone laughed.
All the adults, well everyone eighteen or older, does a 'white elephant' gift. So we all ended up exchanging gifts. I ended up getting the present my mother brought, which was a bunch of earings, an x-mas theme cloth napkin and a silver dish. My brother got the funniest present, a box and holiday bag full of cotton swabs. He ended up passing them around to anyone who wanted a bag.
