I just saw that The Playboy Club got canceled. I'm so upset! Out of all the new shows I managed to catch online this was the one I was most looking forward to, the one I couldn't wait for a fandom to develop around and the one I was waiting with anticipation for them to put the episodes online.
It got canceled after 3 episodes.
It was wonderful. There were powerful female chars, a glbt subplot and the potential for femslash was just beautiful. I've only seen the first two episodes, hopefully I will catch the third.
So very sad.
