I really like family of choice, friendship, slice of life, hurt/comfort. I’m not picky about pairings and enjoy femslash, het and if you want to put some slash in the background that is cool too. I don’t enjoy mentor/student, non-con or character bashing.
These are just suggestions and ideas. If you have an idea for a character go with it. These are characters I enjoy and would love to see any of them explored further.
Power Rangers RPM – I really liked the world that this series put together. It’s dark, but it has humor too. Despite the hardships people are trying to make the best of things. The flashbacks showed that Summer’s life has changed a lot. In adapting to the world now Summer has changed who she is a lot. Does she like who she is now better? How does she now view her relationship with her parents? Dr. K has dealt with a lot and seems to view what happened with Venjix as her fault. How does she deal with this? What are some of her hang-ups given her upbringing? How did her friendship with Gem and Gemma evolve? I imagine if one was going to write meta about how the powers work it would probably be best done through K’s perspective. Does she want to chose a name for herself or does she prefer to go by K. I do enjoy the K/Gemma pairing. For Tenya, how is she putting her life back together post Venjix? I would love a sibling fic between her and Dillon. Summer/Tenya is an awesome pairing too. I’d like the see the world post Venjix explored through Tenya. Tenya had lived much of her life blind and Venjix used technology to allow her to see. At the end of the series K isn’t sure how long this technology would work. What does Tenya think about this? For that matter how is she dealing with the way Venjix used her/what was done to her? I love Gemma. Anything with her and K either romantic or friendship. A sibling fic with Gem, a relationship fic with another one of the rangers. How is she living in the world post Venjix?
Stargate Universe – I enjoyed this series and would love to see a fic centered around any of these three women. Anything after the ending would be amazing. What do TJ or Lisa wake up to? During the show TJ and Vanessa have this really amazing friendship that I don’t see explored often. Or there could be femslash between these two. How did they become friends? What keeps them friends? Or a get together fic. Or Vanessa offering comfort after TJ loses her baby. Amanda Perry comes in to help Rush, but also has a crush on him and pursues a relationship with him. How does she justify this knowing that the only way she can spend time with Rush is when she’s inhabiting someone else’s body.
Power Rangers Wild Force – It’s been awhile since I’ve seen this series, but I did enjoy it. Taylor had to disappear and basically give up her place in the Air Force to be a ranger, how is she dealing with this? There are several times where Taylor clashes with Cole’s brand of leadership so maybe a fic where they find some common ground. Taylor was the first ranger Shayla called. How have her and Shayla’s relationship changed and evolved over time, with the addition of more rangers. How does Taylor feel about Shayla’s demand for their morphers and vests at the end. Alyssa continued to go to school though her tenure as a rangers. What difficulties doe she face because of this? Does she consider taking a break from school? The show showed that Alyssa is a skilled fighter, maybe a fic where she teaches her teammates some of her skills. Princess Shayla isn’t my favorite mentor, but I would love to see her relationship to the other rangers explored, or how she tries to relate to the world she woke up into. Why does she want to go back to sleep? For Toxica where does she end up taking her new life? What happens to her and Jindrax after the series ended.
Marvel Cinematic Universe – I love these movies and this look at the Marvel universe. Any fic exploring these three women would be amazing. I would love to see background fic for Pepper, May or Maria. How did Pepper start working for Tony? How did Pepper relate to Stane? What did she do when Tony disappeared? Did she work with Rhodes trying to find Tony? What about her relationship with Natasha/Natalie? How does she feel when it’s revealed that Natalie actually works for SHIELD and they were accessing Tony? In Iron Man 2 Pepper was upset when Tony gave away his art collection which she had put a lot of time, effort, and enjoyment into. I would enjoy seeing her develop a friendship with Steve based on their mutual interest in art. Maybe she teaches him about the art movements he missed? For May, what happened that she’s dealing by being distant, how is she healing? How does she relate to the team? How has her view about them changed over time? Who is she beyond the pilot and a concerned friend? Maria has had less screen time and it was great to see her in Cap 2. How does her life change after Cap 2? She’s put a lot of time and energy into SHIELD, how does she deal with finding out about HYDRA? Or what has she been up to between the Avengers and Cap 2? Did she have a hand in putting the Avengers together? What were some of the team members she went to bat for?
Power Rangers Samurai – I love this team, anything with them would be amazing. Emily is so sweet. How is she handling being away from her family/the entire life’s she’s known and never thought she’d have to leave to become a ranger until her sister became ill? How is she dealing with the stress of her sister being ill and being one of the people tasked with saving the world? How is Serena dealing with having to give up the legacy she always thought would go to her? How is she dealing with her worry/concern for Emily while also trying to get well? Emily/Mike or Emily/Mia would be awesome. How about Mia learning to cook? Or Mia and Antonio bonding in the kitchen? Or Emily and Mia becoming friends (or more)? Background Laura fic would be amazing? Or Laura bonding with the team, making friends? Laura and Jayden learning to be siblings again after so long apart. What does Laura think/how does she feel about what happened to her and her brother? For Dayu, how does her perspective change over time? Or maybe rewrite the ending so she and Dekker get a happy ending like Toxica and Jindrax.
Mighty Morphing Power Rangers – Anything with these characters would be amazing! All these women are awesome. For Ms. Appleby, how does she deal with living in a ranger town and try to help her students? Does she know who the rangers are? If so does she do what she can to help them? Trini is an awesome character. I would love friendship or relationship fic with either Kim or Billy. What happens at the Peace Conference? How does her life change after she becomes a ranger? Or how does her life change after the Peace Conference? During the series she had a close friendship with Billy, even translating what he was saying when others couldn’t understand him so how do her and Billy maintain a friendship once she leaves and/or once he leaves for Aquitar? For Aisha, how does her life change after she and her friends start going to Angel Grove High and become rangers? How do she and Kim become friends? Or a Kim/Aisha fic. How does her life change when she passes on her powers to Tanya? Delphine is an amazing character but there aren’t a lot of episodes in her season. How long has she been leading her team? How did she become a ranger? How does she feel about coming to Earth? Is there culture shock? Or a friendship fic with Billy either while her team is on Earth or after Billy moves to Aquitar.
