Yesterday was okay, we went to the mall first to get an ink cartarge for my printer. I can't stand the mall, especially when it's crowded. I always feel as if I'm on edge, as if I'm about to have a panic attack. So generally I attempt to avoid crowded area such as these unless I have a purpose. Funny thing is I've only had that feeling once at Bounce, the first time my brother took me on a birthday. Since going to the club since I haven't, it's only ever been mostly fun since then. Anyway it turned out they didn't have what I needed so we had to turn around and go back. My Grandma had insisted on sitting down on a bench and waiting for us.
Then we went to the book store, because they were having a sale and I'd gotten my Aunt a gift card for Christmas. It's a resale book store that sells mostly gently used books. The fun thing was that they rearranged things just a bit. So I wondered around, thought'd I'd think about getting some Virigna Woolf, but couldn't find the section. I did however stumble across their gay/lesbian/bi section and as I was checking that out my Aunt found me cause she'd picked out two cookbooks and was ready to leave. So I really didn't get to look to see what they had, am thinking about going back tomorrow before work.
They, my Aunt and Grandma, had a specific resturant they wanted to go to, however it turned out not to be opened. We had the adventure of getting slightly lost on the way home and eventually stopped someplace to eat. We ended up going to the resturant they wanted to go to yesterday today. So it all worked out.
Ended up wanting some time to myself today, since I've been spending most of it with at home and it's my last day off before I have to go back to work. My mom got my a gift card to Borders/Waldenbooks. Since I don't go to Borders anymore after that checkout lady was rude to me I ended up at Walden's...at the mall. Thought I'd try to get my own copy of Tommy's Tale, they didn't have it and found out that its out of print. Which I found out, it was released in 2002 and it sa good book, so I was kinda disappointed. So I ended up getting Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman and two comics.
Now I'm home, in the mindset where I either need to write or clean. Can't decide which.
Oh and DeLovely is out on DVD already.
