I found out the Marriage Act passed while I was at work. I yelled no at the radio and just stood there shocked for a moment. I have to admit I cried a little. Both of the girls I worked with offered reassurances. It still hurts. I wouldn've liked to have gotten married one day, or at least feel like I had the option.
