Orientation today and for the rest of the week. I have a feeling it's going to be a long week. However today went well, and I found out that most of the houses that you end up working in are small. They said the house I was going to work in had only about five residents, so that should be new. The last time I worked with patient care it was in a nursing home with tons of patients, so it'll be nice to be able to do one on one with people.

Also they listed sexual orientation as one of the things you can't be discriminated against. Which I haven't really seen on any of my other jobs, I think maybe one other had that so I found that thrilling.

We ended up getting out of orientation a little early. They only hired four people from the job fair so I feel kinda special for being one of the four. We're doing our orientation with a house manager as well, so it's just a small class of five. We're all going to different house though, so it might be a while before I see any of the other people again.

After my first day, I went to the college, rearranged my schedule one last time and then bought the rest of my books. I'm glad that's over and now all I have to do is wait for classes to start. Am a bit upset that I'm not sure if I'll have any friends in any of my classes, but that couldn't really be helped because I don't know how I would have taken the drawing class without falling asleep on my drawing pad. So yeah, I had to drop it. One of the guys I had Shakespeare class with said he was taking the Brit Lit II so hopefully he didn't drop it and I'll at least know someone in one of my classes. Plus he still has two of my moives and I haven't tried to get ahold of him so seeing him in class would make my life easier. Then I wouldn't have to go searching for his number. Yeah, so anyway I'm nervous about class starting. Am feeling acomplished because I looked over my classes and realized that I've accumilated thirty-two credit hours and you need sixty two to get an associates. It's not that far away! If I work really hard I can probably have an associates before I start clinicals.
