Sometime earlier today two of my friends frienship imploded. I found this out through a phone call from one of them asking if I hated her. Venting ensued and yeah, I did my best to be the objective calm you down third party. I really don't know what happen. I know he has been venting about her a lot, but that's his right as well. I don't know. I was tired when she called and totally not in the mood for drama, so I tried to calm her down, so hopefully that worked. Not sure. Tried to explain that they're both at different points in their lives and that they both have strong personalities so it's natural that they would clash. I just hope he's doing okay.
I find it funny how our first impression of someone can be totally off. In one of my class there is this guy that I basically thought was a bigot, didn't really like him too much, but didn't really know him well either. Then I ran into him and one of his friends at Borders (yes, I finally went back and shopped at Borders) and we had a rather long rather interesting conversations about erotica (gay vs lesbian vs het) and sexuality. Yeah he's close minded and very straight, but he admits to being closeminded while also managing to remain objective.
