Had lunch with James today, it was good to catch up and find out what was going on with him.
Luckily the fourth wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I thought there would be insane fireworks and a long family get together. The family get together was short in which I mainly watched Logan. Watching the just getting steady on his feet infant had it's perks...and apparently he trusts me to pick him up and set him on my shoulders or feed him some of my hot dog. Cute kid. Plus Charlie was there, he's my Aunt Celeste's friend who comes to most of our family gathering and we talked, mostly about some special I caught during downtime at work on Animal Planet about squid. Hey the squid were interesting.
The my cousin Elizabeth was messing around on the computer and it turned out she had a myspace so I told her to friend me without really thinking about it (I am out to her so it's not too big a deal). I don't really use my myspace often, I prefeer liverjournal, but a lot of the friends I made in Student Life (Clubs at school) are on it. So anyway she got bored with it and I told her if she let me on I'd friend her back. Wonderful man that he is James wished me a Happy Fourth in my comments...with a picture of a naked man. I panicked as my one old cousin when *guh* thinking my 14 yr old cousin was behind me...she wasn't and honestly I don't know what my other cousin was going *guh* about? I mentioned it to James and he didn't get it either.
Oh and the concert I made sure to get tickets to because he's one of my cousin Lisa's favorite singers...and requested the day off work for, and got persmission from her mother for...her Dad has decided he needs to think about it. So who knows what's going to happen.
Turns out I was a little off in taking a full load over the summer. The classes are half over but I'm starting to feel a bit overwhealmed.
