Today has been rather interesting. I went out to do the job application thing, managed on interview and was immediantely hired. At least I believe I'm hired. She still has to make some phone calls, but I'm scheduled for finger-printing tomorrow and orientation on Tuesday. So unless something goes wacky I should have a job. The nice thing is that with my STNA certification it's nearly a 1.50 pay raise. Of course this all depends on my passing my state exam on the 25th. Hopefully I'll start working before then, but if not I'm sure I'll find something to occupy my time.
I'm hoping I get a steady schedule too and that we'll know realtively soon if I'm going to be kept on first or be switching to second because I can start signing up for next semester classes on the 23rd and it'd be nice to know what I want my schedule to be ahead of time.
I also spoke to a scheduling advisor today and then made an appointment with an associate advisor for next Wed. to discuss graduating with my associate degrees in arts and science at the end of next year. Here's hoping that goes well. It does look doable at this point in time.
