I almost stayed in bed today. I have a sinus infection, no it's not gone away yet...these silly things take time with me and I woke up with a sore throat and feeling slightly feverish. I was all 'I can miss one more class without it affecting my grade so I should crawl back into bed and get two more hours sleep.' I nixed that idea and got up. I got dressed, grabbed some food for when I finally arrived and started heading into Cleveland.
Then my car died.
It decided to do this in the middle of the highway as I was just getting on an exit ramp from one interstate to the next. Oh, and there was already construction in this area so traffic was already backed-up. It was extremely frustrating. I called my parents, cause I was a bit freaked out. My parents reminded me I had road side assitance and reassured me that they'd come get me. The triple A people were very nice. The poor woman who answered my call, I think I scared her half to death when I said my car died in the middle of the highway. So with my parents on the way, a tow truck and the police I got to sit there as people pulled up to my bumper and beeped at me as if that would somehow magically get my car to work.
My car is now at the repair shop and I'm at the community college I also go to. Needless to say my State class did get skipped. Hopefully repairs won't cost too much and my car will be back up and running soon. I am just praying and crossing my fingers that it doesn't have to be replaced, adding a car payment to my bills is the last thing I would need right now. Please, please let it be something small and silly that will cost me a bit of money and let me get back on the road.
It's almost funny. My computer and my car died all in the same week.
At least my brothers home. And I got my new hardrive yesterday, just haven't had time to install it yet.
