I had last weekend off. It was a great vacation and I had a good time with my family.
Then I called off today. I was very ill this morning. I am finally, just now, starting to feel better though I could happily crawl back into bed and sleep until I need to go to work tomorrow. I also called off one hour before I was suppose to go in. You're required to call in 2 hours ahead of time. I woke up ill though, so there wasn't really anything I could do. I was planning to go in on Tuesday for a few moments to see what the meeting on Monday is about. They only scheduled one meeting time on Monday for all the shifts and it's when I'm in class. I'll talk to my scheduler then, see if I can get some PTO time to make up for today's absence and see if I can schedule picking up some time, maybe expain myself. Hopefully I won't get written up, but if I do then I do. I feel awful about calling off, but if I hadn't I would've have gone in and then promptly asked to be sent home so...well better than wasting the gas.
