I'm already behind! I just found out today that we do have books for Nursing 128. I went to the book store twice and each time it was 'We don't have books. We aren't getting books for that class. The material is provided to you.' Apparently they came in last week. Guess I should've checked back a third time. We had a check off in class today and I didn't have a syllabus to get a paper to be signed. I talked to my teacher, told her what happened and she told it to just bring it to her in class when I got it. At least she was understanding. Also a classmate gave me ISB numbers for the three texts. I still have to go stand in line tomorrow and first week of school the lines are at least two hours long. I need my syllabus and to get them to look up my locker combo. Normally I remember my combo and don't really think about it. For some reason I forgot. I think it might just be nerves for this semester.
I do have a piece of good news though. I thought I wasn't getting financial aid for this semester. I saved the left over aid from fall semester and paid for this one, but didn't know how I was going to pay for summer. My aid for spring did go through so I'll have money for summer. I wasn't sure if I was getting any because my home school is CSU and I was told that they don't give you aid unless you take 6 credit hours with them. I have 13 credit hours with LCCC right now so I didn't want to pick up six CSU credits. Thankfully things worked out and I have aid.
