I finally managed to attend a Psi Chi meeting. There were officer issues so they've really only sent me infromation about one other meeting. I got my membership card, certificate and pin today. The dates a bit off, but at this point they are a bit disorganized so well...why add more to their plate?
The most intersting part was that there was this guy there that was certain that he knew me. I couldn't place him. He asked if I went to the community college I attend and I of course said yes. Then he hesitated and said he had to ask me an off the wall question and I said okay. He asked if I'd ever been a nude model. He had taken one of the art classes I'd modeled for. I always thought that if I'd met someone after it would be awkward, but it wasn't.
Of course that wasn't the best part of this week. No that goes to my cousin. Her little boy is 4 and of course loves Power Rangers. I showed him his first episodes...I was working my way through Mystic Force at the time. I'm so proud! But anyway she'd rented him the 'fan favorite' dvd and was very confused. One moment Tommy's white and then the next he's red. What color is Tommy? Yes, I got to explain Tommy and his many colors this week in a very adult converation that involved my giving away of one my Dino Thunder DVD (have the same DVD on tape) oh and also the url to a site where he can enjoy all 17 season of Power Rangers. Yes, my cousin is aware that I am going to take every opportunity to encourage geekiness in her son. She is okay with it.
