Intended today to be a writing day, instead I finally did what I've been planning to do for months. I finally went out and cut and dyed my hair. It's now just past my chin, just long enough to be pulled back and purple. I'm so happy with it...except that my hands are slightly purple. It was a dye it myself type deal and the first time I've done that so it was kinda touch and go there for a moment. It turned out well though. My Grandma freaked, but then relented and sighed and told me it was my hair. I thought about it for a really long time. I've been wanting something more androgynous, and I think this length'll work for me.
Went up to taco bell yesterday to see my brother, got him something good to eat. He doesn't need to be trying to live off of Taco Bell, he wanted to know why I was being so nice to him. I told him that he was my brother and I loved him. Got to talk to Kenny for a bit, made plans to possibly meet him at Pride Sat morning...we'll see. I have to call him Friday and find out when he's going and go from there. What was really cool was that I got to see Kristen, and we exchanged numbers and talked. I ended up explaining what the term pansexual means to her and she told me about how she became a 'fag hag' (usually I can't stand this term, but it so fits Kristen that I've actually told her she's stuck being one for life, lol) Anyways it was a good time.
Tammy's going to be induced Sunday morning. I'm hoping I get to go up to the hospital and visit her. Don't know, we'll see. That does mean though that sometime early this week I'm going to be a Godmother. I'm excited!
