you wake up with several people from work making sure that you are coming to work. Then on top of that a request for the number of a co-worker that just moved so they can see if she wants to come in. Somehow I think we're going to be short today. Which sucks cause we were short yesterday, on a holiday. How are we short on a holiday? When I first started at this job if you called off on a holiday you were fired...guess they got rid of that rule.
Normally I work Fri, Sat and Sun, but I've picked up working 4 hours on Mondays in July so that it'll round out my week to 40 hrs. Mostly cause once school starts in the fall I'm going to need to cut my hours and so since I'm in a position to pick up hours right now I might as well take advantage of it.
Also trying to finish watching Turbo. It started as wanting to have seen the whole series before writing up a background/profile for the Justin I've been rpging. I swear I am going to get plot bunnies and I'm glad I've watched because I didn't realize how close Carlos and Justin were, Jetson is the cutest thing ever, even as a human and well the Carlos as a vamp epi was just silly. I couldn't help but giggle when Bulk actually pets Skull to calm him down though. Tubro is a bit cracky and fun. I love when Divatox looks right at the camera and complains, but I loved when Lothor did that too. Now I wanna write fic where Andros gets introduced to Jetson or Cassie brings Jetson on the Megaship and hilarity ensues. Also whenver they show a shot of Angel Grove High I go 'Sunnydale!' but I have enough btvs/pr xovers I don't need more.
