Clinical started out on a funny note because the patient I had yesterday had been moved so I had not assigned patient. Instead of assigning me a patient my instructor had me shadow the nurse on her entire assignment instead. This is kinda huge, because it's proved I'm ready to do that and I got to see how the nurse organized and set up her day. I learned so much today! I was thrilled.
Then I came home. There was a letter in the mailbox from my state school. I made Dean's List for my summer classes!
So I took myself out to dinner at this place I love but haven't been to in ages. Apparently the last time I was there I left my Jack Skeleton umbrella there. I thought I'd lost it forever, but now I have it back!
I also took some time to visit with my parents. It was much needed as we keep missing each other this week.
