Except for the nonstop headache/neck pain...tension style thing going on.
Other than that today was wonderful. Classes were okay, though I think I zoned in both a little. However I got my test grade back. I seriously thought I bombed the test I took yesterday. I kinda had a bit of panic halfway through. So I took several deep breaths, skimmed through the test until I saw a question I knew for sure and then started again. I got a C! A higher C than my first C! So I passed.
Also yesterday I passed the lab check off I had to redo (the first time I've had to redo one!) and I survived doing it in the open lab...which is what I think really threw me last time. We had simulation yesterday too. It's where they give us a simulation on an simulation dummy. My group impressed the teacher! Our patient lived! Most first times he dies. I was the one that recongized that his K level was too low and so we couldn't give him insulin even though his glucose level was through the roof. I also found that the nausea med we had on order to give him was ordered in the wrong route and got a (fake) doctor's order to fix it. It was kinda awesome.
Today was made even better by the fact that I took time out to spend with a friend I haven't seen in awhile. He and I got some lunch and caught up! Missed him so much.
